Monthly rent ÷ days in that rent period × days charged. This is what Prop Rental OS uses.
Monthly rent ÷ 30 × days charged. Simple, but a 31-day month then costs slightly more than the rent.
Monthly rent × 12 ÷ 365 × days charged. The same daily rate all year.
Your lease may say which method to use, and local law may limit what you can charge. When the lease is silent, actual days in the period is the most common.
